Pros

Dogs in the office on Thursdays Lots of parking Showers Great exit benefits for when you decide to leave the company

Cons

Many, many issues: - Food is terrible - Promises are made that they can't keep (promised us a gym, never happened) - Huge gong added to the floor is a major distraction that they won't get rid of - Zero communication between managers and other teams within the organization leads to miscommunication and wasted time - Majority of the company leaves before 3pm - Trainings are not tailored to individual roles - I have yet to see a single promotion from within - Inside engineers don't even understand the product - Product is too expensive, making it very difficult to sell - Lots of company money is spent on parties, which is great until you see another dip in the stock price Other things to note, since I joined: - Stock price dropped in half - Several C-level executives have left over the last year - HALF of inside sales has quit, including 2/3 of the managers

Thank you for taking the time to post this review. I wanted to address some of the concerns you bought up. I do agree that we could always be better at communication, and we continue to look for ways to get better. There are multiple channels of communication and we are trying to make that communication a two-way street. A great example is our most recent All Hands in November, which we made completely virtual and anonymous so employees to ask tough questions. You have raised a variety of other concerns so let me tackle the few about our work environment - We are also constantly working to improve amenities for employees at our offices – that’s why we provide highly subsidized food, free snacks, and are still planning to build a gym but the timing has been delayed for a few reasons including permits and priorities. Finally, while I think you make many great points, I would have to disagree that we don’t promote internally. We have had many examples of employees that have been able to move into new functions and roles after spending time in entry level positions as well as folks who moved up the organization into management and senior leadership roles. Our employees are always the top focus for us and any recommendations on you might have to how we can improve career development internally would be welcomed. -MDC

We’re pleased to hear that you’ve found Forescout to be a place that offers growth opportunities and an enjoyable work environment. Supporting employee development and creating meaningful career opportunities are important priorities for us. We also appreciate your candid feedback regarding work-life balance. While remote work offers flexibility, we recognise that it can sometimes blur the boundaries between work and personal time. We continue to encourage healthy working practices and support managers and teams in creating sustainable ways of working. Thank you again for your feedback and for your contributions to Forescout. K.A.
