Pros
I don't really have any pros. This is a company I cannot recommend to anyone!
Cons
They do not give cost of living raises. They are a technology company that has no concept of how to use the technology they sell. All of their sales and project management tools are from the 1970s, and so is the skill level of the sales and project management management. How on earth do you use a DOS based CRM system in 2015 - especially one that doesn't interface with ANY program on the planet? If you haven't worked at Ford for over 5 years, all of your experience and suggestions will be IGNORED by everyone you work for. In 3 years, I sent Mr. Ford 6 emails. Still waiting for a reply. Ford claims to provide training, but make sure you read the fine print. Any class you take comes out of your paycheck if you leave within a year of taking the class. And really, don't get me started on the EMAC. Ford obfuscates their job accounting to maximize what goes in their pocket and minimize the profit sharing. Do NOT be fooled by their claim of profit sharing. People will bill hours to your job for no reason other than to get profit sharing. By the time all 30 people have billed hours to your job, your profit is ZERO! All in all, this is a horrible place to work with a management staff of people who have no idea what is going on in the technology industry. I should have quit sooner, but I kept giving it a chance based on the hope that things would change. THEY WILL NOT - don't make the mistake I made.
