You are micro-managed every moment of every day. Everyone is on camera and if management looks and feels like you are not working hard enough, you are loudly and publicly chastised. Well, SOME people are, while others are not. If you are not Jewish, you are treated differently. They use an office-wide intercom used to yell at employees all day. They cheated me out of PTO. My pay checks were regularly wrong. You are required to work Sunday mornings sometimes. They have no tolerance for any culture or calendar that they do not use. This company is completely inept, malicious, and crooked. These are not good people and you should not work for them under any circumstance. I say this all calmly and from the comfort of another high paying job somewhere else. I started working here under desperate circumstances and no one else should ever have to do that. English is everyone's second language and no one there has a working knowledge of very, very basic computer and office software such as email or spreadsheets.
In three years i was given a $1hr/raise. The pay is abysmal. Benefits are non existent. I meticulously documented my growth there and value to the company and was repeatedly denied any request for a raise. Usually they would just ignore the requests all together. A month after leaving, i was offered 2 jobs at x6 times what Focus was paying me.While i was there the Labor Department and 311 were called on management at Focus many times. For 3 months they made us work in an active construction site. During the winter everyone sat at their desks in wool hats, scarves and winter coats, because management refused to turn the heat to a reasonable level. I regret every single moment I wasted there and strongly warn anyone else from doing so.
