Pros

A professional team dedicated to rural and remote healthcare. High team culture, where everyone feels valued and supported. Allocated time to balance client contact and non face to face work, with very achievable KPI's and remunerated accordingly. Strong career growth opportunities.

Cons

Rural and remote healthcare has a lot of nuances, and can at times be complex (this, however, is part of the reason the work is so rewarding).

Pros

Unique experience flying in small planes and seeing small(ish) parts of Australia. Remuneration was pretty good (but you do work long days).

Cons

Truly a horrible company and experience for staff and clients. So disorganised, with constant changes to processes. Flights frequently get cancelled, delayed, or changed so you end of doing unpaid overtime constantly, and constantly letting clients down. KPIs are literally insane. I think at its heart the idea is nice to bring health services to regional communities, but it just ends up being a money hungry scheme that works staff into the ground, charging 2-3x the normal rate for services. It is also not overly client-safe, as admin just book in clients with any clinician to make sure staff meet KPIs, without actually considering the therapist’s experience and whether it is at all appropriate for the client.

Pros

- Nice to be impacting rural community - Money is good when casual, and no KPIs when casual

Cons

- Admin have KPIs and just book stuff in without consulting therapists or reading notes.
