Pros
- Incredible team, not one person I wouldn't vouch for - Inspirational and approachable founders and a senior management team who really care - Lots of opportunity for growth at all levels – if you're the sort of person who will find it and pursue it - You will be pushed out of your comfort zone, ultimately leading to broader and deeper industry experience, on a fast track other companies can't provide - This is a scale-up. It can be a bit intense but if, like me, you thrive off pressure and a band of brothers style camaraderie, you'll like it - The freedom to actually make an idea happen, without red tape, politics or BS - Great office, pet-friendly, free snacks, social events and lots of laughs
Cons
- No serious cons from me, but maybe some advice on things others might list: - Like I said, this is a start-up moving into scale-up – it's fast-paced, intense and sometimes unpredictable. But this comes with the territory of start-up life – and keeps you on your A-game :) - Decisions can be made very last-minute, which might seem unfair or poorly-led, but it always comes with good intention and often because we're reacting fast to new information. You just gotta roll with it sometimes. - Senior management team went through a period of being a bit disconnected from those below – but I've always found the leadership team to be really open to feedback and they were quick to address it. - No business is perfect, things can go wrong and mistakes can be made (and it can feel really crap!) but, when it does hit the fan, the WHOLE business pulls together to find the best solution. Never seen it like that anywhere else.
