Engineering culture can be surprisingly hostile. Discussions frequently become dominated by the loudest, most cynical voices rather than the most constructive ones. Collaboration often resembles an intellectual cage fight where the prize is winning an argument nobody needed to have.
Morale is predictably poor. An eNPS score of approximately -80 does not feel like a metric requiring further investigation.
