Pros

The people within the firm are very sharp, and generally fun to interact with on a day-to-day basis. Interesting work; Flagship initiates and invests in companies working on the cutting edge of science, and takes an open-minded approach to new ideas.

Cons

Culture of extreme paranoia and secrecy. Poor communication. The firm treats those "on the outside" (entrepreneurs, interns, experts) very poorly, and generally tries to extract the most that they can from these people while giving little back in return (worse yet, a few people within the firm seem to take particular glee in such behavior). Top-down management; it seems that all decisions must originate from the CEO.

Pros

A tremendous place to grow and work with collaborative and smart people. You are encouraged to experiment regardless of what team you are on. Pay is also great!

Cons

Some days are tough, we move fast, but that's better than staying complacent.

Pros

- Office Location makes for a nice walk - There are smart people in the org who can be learned from

Cons

- Reactive IT leadership, if you aren't at the top you will be on a ship that is being steered blindly while sounding productive - Huge breakdowns in reporting structure, people in management/leadership positions who should not be - Contractors are treated less-than-human
