Adaptable: Maintains relevance by routinely assessing the needs of employees and patients, tries new things to meet changing needs.
Good Culture: Works hard to encourage and maintain a culture of acceptance and civility toward all humans.
Cons
Working for a not-for-profit is not for everyone. The lower pay scale offered to RNs working for a Community Health Center, as compared to working for a hospital system, in my opinion, is far outweighed by a robust benefits package, employer kindness, and a genuine culture of service.
