Pros
Nice offices, good location to commute to via public transit, opportunity to gain experience. Fun parties and giveaways.
Cons
Work life balance is non existent. There seems to be a systemic issue in the company of departments being permanently understaffed and managers being extremely unprofessional with no consequences. Systems are entirely manual with no fixes available. It’s a work harder, not smarter environment. High turnover rate, even in HR, so if you have an issue or complaint that HR person will just leave the company with no resolution. It’s not uncommon to see people openly crying at their desks or in common areas. The burnout is really bad. There seems to be an attitude of “this is how retail is” but that simply isn’t true. I would not recommend working at this corporate office to anyone, it’s one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had in my career.
