Easy isolating work, terrible management - Front Desk Attendant FirstService Residential Employee Review

Pros

It's a very laid back job for the most part, there is a lot of down time, so I spent a lot of time working on personal projects. The residents at my building were mostly really nice, and the pay was pretty decent.

Cons

It's a very isolating job, you get very little time with your other coworkers, and this can be really stressful especially considering you're not supposed to leave the desk unattended, and you do have to leave the desk for many things. The management structure is garbage and there was always some reason why management wasn't doing their job, or was causing stress. If management had their stuff together, it would have been an almost perfect job.

Great atmosphere, friendly coworkers. I like working this position, it pays well and the work is reasonable.

Pros

They take good care of the office people

Cons

Field workers are second hand citizens. Nepotism by language. Promote people that don't have the skill sets to do the job. The people that have the common sense to be leadership at this point don't want the responsibility anymore. What does that say?
