Pros
Family owned and the family is great. Great office atmosphere. Hires outsiders with tons of knowledge, experience, and professional etiquette into director and some manager positions.
Cons
Restructuring due to cost of raw materials causes a cycle of hiring and layoffs, and the layoffs are based on need for the role per the new structure and not performance. You could have a stellar annual review and be gone before the next because of a new tariff.
