Pros
Benefits are ok. Micro management is low if you’re exceeding your numbers. Which they set the bar high.
Cons
Very low salary for a Business Development Manager role, $16-17 on average. Pay days are twice a month, the 15th and the last day of the month. They’ve combined two positions into one to save money. Your responsibility is to develop new business with a quota as well as manage existing business and all customer issues, complaints, cancelations etc. which pays you nothing. They have in place a bonus structure to entice productivity. But it’s deceiving and difficult to make money unless you hit every facet of the monthly and quarterly plan. New management with their best interests in mind not yours. Even if you sell, good luck getting equipment on time and or installed, due to labor shortages . Bad technicians/ route drivers. High turnover. Very stressful job! Management doesn’t care about the customers would rather they cancel so they can recoup their losses.no room for advancement. It’s their way or the highway. If you have heath problems Run away from this job.
