Pros
Not a dull moment, no two days alike. You get the satisfaction of helping people and in same cases you become their adviser and friend.
Cons
The job became a paper pusher job in the last few years. Unrealistic expectations by changing unrealistic deadlines, changing directions and strategies every few month and blaming the disasters resulted due to that stupid strategy on the front line managements.
