Pros
Early on startup phase: Great tech, groundbreaking. Smart colleagues readily sharing information and knowledge. Aggressive mission and acquisitions. Good salary and work life.
Cons
Post startup (as is expected) corporatization triggered departure of many good people, replaced with less quality staff significantly less passionate about security - though some remained. Churn led to less open connected relationships. Continuing struggles with profitability led to deep cuts in staff and R&D resources - though many directors and "well connected" staff still stay in the most expensive 5-star hotels and flaunt spending habits.
