Extensive rot in the culture. Everyone is looking for a quick fix and to protect their own interests. Any attempts to unite a team quickly falls into tribalism and personal agendas.
The company has way over promised and in some cases mislead customers in the current capabilities of the company, unfortunatly to the point where it cannot deliver on those promises leading to a spiral of failures and poor decisions.
This is further compounded with high staff turnover meaning there is little or no documented knowledge transfer, simple avoidable mistakes are constantly repeated and internal team moral is non-existent.
In short, avoid the company unless your working on some sort of dissertation on how bad a work place can be! Finova's main failure is that its unable to shake off its slap dash start-up mentality, so lacks the required maturity to conduct itself as a company of its size should.
