Pros

While this workplace offers great benefits, it’s essential to recognize that these benefits may be necessary due to the stress caused by dealing with leadership. Mental health leave is common, highlighting the challenges employees face in this environment

Cons

This workplace is incredibly toxic. While they claim to prioritize mental health and promote a ‘One Team’ atmosphere, leadership’s actions don’t align with these values. Favoritism is rampant, and growth seems possible only through personal connections or compromising your integrity. If you thrive in an environment led by narcissistic sociopaths, this place might suit you. However, if you value empathy and being a decent human being, steer clear.”

Pros

Good and hard working employees for the most part, standard industry benefits and great business model for growth

Cons

Many changes within BP&S team in the past few months without leadership or strategic approach; Hiring and keeping expensive contractors instead of keeping knowledgable employees. The CIO acts as a bully and there is no oversight on his costly decisions and the chaos he has created. He was given the ultimate authority by the past leadership team and since they have left Finning, the new leadership team has not assessed CIO’s negative impact and outcomes so far. Moral is low and BP&S employees seem lost while the new CIO brings in more of his people on high paid roles and contracts.
