Pros
It's very flexible, considering most of us were students. The manager was fair, the best manager I've had in any job. I was shy but gained a lot of customer service experience, communication skills, growth in my selling skills. Met a lot of new people, gained relationships with frequent customers. Get a 30% discount on everything in the store,
Cons
We were only given 1% commission on sales. It was a smaller store, so not much opportunity for promotions. Considering it was an entry level job, not really a career, the pay is not much. Get paid bi-weekly. Holidays are extremely hectic
