Pros

Work on fun projects that get in kids' hands quickly for big brands. Love my coworkers. Relatively (but not completely) flexible working hours. Excellent location on Union Square. Excellent and nice executive team. Company is ~30 people so it's easy to make your mark if you try.

Cons

If you're looking for free lunch or someone to brew your coffee, this isn't the place. Also, employees need to be self-starters who don't need a comprehensive training program, so if this is necessary, Fingerprint may not be a match.

Pros

Fingerprint has a talented and dedicated crew building cutting edge applications for the mobile edutainment market. Definitely a place for self starters. Support is available, but everyone has the freedom to contribute and do the work they enjoy. The atmosphere in the office is friendly, fun, and professional. Definitely a start-up vibe, but a well managed one. No talk about "runway" here, the foundation is solid. I've been here for 8 months and came from a poorly run startup where the only vision was an IPO and when that failed, things really fell apart. The difference from my previous experience and my experience at Fingerprint couldn't be more profound. There is a real sense of security and purpose here.

Cons

Fingerprint has an open office, so you will need to adjust if that's new to you.
