Great people, poor pay - Coordinator Film Independent Employee Review

Everyone who I've worked with at FI is very committed to their mission, friendly and organized. I've always had a great experiences leading workshops for FI because of the excellent staff and amazing filmmakers who participate in the programs. I am always happy to support their programs.

It is a non-profit, so the compensation might be slightly less than other institutions, but they always show their appreciation!

Supportive supervisors - hybrid work schedule - mostly independent work Gained exposure to other department functions - sat in on group meetings Many fun events & company lunches

Ended up doing more administrative work than production experience as the intern for the Project Involve program.
