Pros

CEO / president very nice and helpful Healthcare plan appeared to be expensive, but it was actually really good and had an HRA Offered more vacation/sick time than other employers in the area Always granted time off for sickness without making us feel guilty Flexible with appointments during the day Only ten minutes from downtown or Hixson, so finding somewhere to eat for lunch was easy Jeans/casual was the norm; not an uptight corporate environment that required dressing up No weekends or overtime work

Cons

Incredibly high stress Minimal training Made less than a teacher but only got about 16 days PTO/year There is no room for advancement and hard work is not rewarded Technology is painfully behind; wasted too much time with inefficient processes Customers upset about constant backorders Office needed a remodel; difficult to work at a desk that poorly supports my needs and job functions Coworkers create gossip / rumors Suddenly fired employees for no reason Management overworked and couldn't support other employees

Pros

Time off but you'll use it on mental health days

Cons

Within the last 3 years the culture has changed from very positive to toxic. The changes due to reorganization and restructuring have made it extremely top heavy. There has been no effective management and the only concern is revenue and "metrics", no consideration for production personnel, morale or quality results.
