Pros

Sadly, can’t even think of one good thing that comes with this company.

Cons

Where do you even begin? Everything within this company moves with the wind. Every other day rules and regulations change, and applied to whom they deem fit. First red flag was, “LLC.”, being on the offer letter. Employed here shy of 10 months and had 5 different schedules. Two during training and 3 in production within the last 4-6 months. The hiring process is slim to none. Very unprofessional. Don’t have a hiring team/department. Whomever they can grab for an interview, guess what? That’s your interviewer. The left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. When I say, “ Go with the wind”, I mean just that. You have people in management, considered, “operation managers”, in which I use the term very loosely. I wouldn’t give these “OM’s”, the title of being a team lead of a good day. You have people in positions with no management experience. Furthermore, prior job was working at Ruby Sunshine. Believe they think they still mentally work there. Was allowed to say and do whatever to individuals, with no repercussions. Younger people who also lack management skills, that feel they can do and say what they want to others. Then when something is returned to them they go run to HR. This company doesn’t like people that will stand up for themselves and not tolerate disrespect from the higher ups. They act like someone is supposed to bow down to them then and kiss their feet. If you have a voice, I wouldn’t advise you to attempt to even work here. They will put a target on your back and try everything in their power to get you to either quit or get fired. Get the kids out of management and maybe there will be some growth. The company is trash. Metrics change on the regular to make them harder to obtain to lower your bonuses. There is no diversity within the company. They look down on you as if you’re beneath them. Head guy, is very rude and disrespectful. He doesn’t speak and if you walk by him and even say good morning, don’t expect anything in return. There is no culture with the company. Seems like every other day your job titles changes with no additional pay. Nothing minor like processes changes, literally your job description changes. There go to is, “we pay for performance”. It don’t matter what you deem might be great, if I’m having to do more work, individuals should be paid for it. Go from allowing you to work in office when you want to assigning in office days. If those days didn’t work for you and you worked from home, occurrence. If they handed out pay increases like they do occurrences, maybe this company will retain their employees. You couldn’t pay me to recommend anyone to this company. Hire you for FT, you get to training and it’s actually PT. This is company is the definition of tell you anything to get you into the door.

Pros

I have been with Figure for 5 years, starting as an Associate Engineer and growing into a Senior Engineer. This company has genuinely changed my life and helped me build the kind of future I dreamed about when I was first starting out in college. I’ve worked alongside truly excellent engineers, been given meaningful growth opportunities, and have been more than fairly compensated along the way, including raises that kept my pay highly competitive even between promotions. The work is engaging, challenging, and keeps me sharp. The culture is one of the best parts of the company: a rare blend of fast iteration, high ownership, strong engineering talent, and controlled chaos in the best possible way. Figure moves quickly, embraces emerging technology, and continues to grow without losing the energy that makes it exciting to work here.

Cons

The pace may not be for everyone. Figure has a startup-like culture where things move fast, priorities can shift, and teams are expected to adapt quickly. I personally find that refreshing and motivating because it keeps the work from becoming monotonous. However, people coming from environments where change is slower or processes are more rigid may need time to adjust.

Pros

Free health insurance, the option to work from home, pay was good.

Cons

They hire and fire at will. They have no real training program. They throw all this stuff at you and advise to take notes, then they tell you that you have 3 assessments to take. They tell you that you cant look at any of the documents or tools that they provided to you to do the job. How they expect you to know all that is impossible. Then they let you to believe that you passed and put you on the floor doing the job. Two days later they call you after you go home, to say oh you didnt pass training.. You didnt get the score of 85. Did not matter that I was doing the job and getting high QA scores. and they dont let you repeat training, they just fire you. You are just a number to them and not a human being.
