Pros
They built pretty homes, and some fun company parties
Cons
Management was very buddy buddy. In meetings people wouldn’t say what they actually thought or believed, they just wanted to appease the people above them. Lack of innovation from a marketing perspective, very stiff and unwilling to experiment “this is the way we do things”. No flexibility for WFH with the exception of nepotism, where there was a lot of special treatment. Huge lack of communication down the ladder. Unreasonable expectations for the work that could get done with a certain deadline. No room for growth. Was left out of “team” meetings. Failed to make clear expectations for work output. Little to no support from direct manager. Sales management didn’t hold individual sales people accountable for poor performance or inappropriate behavior. Marketing leadership needs help. No room for career growth or professional advancement. They look down on formal education.
