Pros
Flexible schedule, good location downtown MPLS, and mostly great co-workers (less the management). COULD be a really great place to work!
Cons
To start, lowest pay in the market, no benefits, and no HR department (their accountant acts as HR). They pitch a great commission structure with unlimited income potential to compensate for their embarrassing wages but once you're in you'll learn that the commission is structured to benefit the company and doesn't exist for you. Unreasonable travel expectations (travel often and bare minimum reimbursement). Also, terrible culture! No communication internally or externally, they often launch new releases that affect everyone who uses the software but don't tell anyone. Its a very secretive company, everyone is kept at arms-length and decisions are made behind closed doors. There is an ongoing p*ssing match between their sales and account management departments that involves the higher level management tattling to the CEO about how the other dept is dragging the company down followed up by subliminal emails to boast about inflated numbers, childish and annoying after the 100th time. The upper management are a bunch of beginners with a C before their names, they have no idea how to run a company. The highest man on the totem pole pitches a good product but the smoke and mirrors doesn't last forever and all of the ability to leave do so. AND they hire all kinds of experts that cost the company a ton of money (which is why they don't give raises) but don't listen to or do what they have to say. Last, all of the "really great reviews" were put up as a request from the newest C beginner to make the company look better. In short, you can't polish a turd.
