Cons
- Fidelity is a 2025 Glassdoor/Linked top company, Fidelity TalentSource is NOT. Fidelity having great benefits, great pay, etc for full time non-contract roles - NO PTO - No bonuses - Reliance Standard health coverage, preventative ONLY, NO coverage - denies valid workers comp. injuries - No overtime for many groups - In interview says will covert you at 6 months, hardly ever does - Rare conversions - Conversions usually happen 1-3 YEARS into a role - Cannot use onsite doctor office (for full time employees only) - Cannot use Circles concierge service (full time only) - No tuition reimbursement - Cannot use Guild platform for certificates/continuing education - No bereavement - Frequent layoffs of contractors - Lack of training, set up to fail - Got rid of service hours bonus pay - Poor communication - Most roles are $18-$27 an hour - Lies about conversion - Waits until last minute to tell you your contract is not extended - No HSA - No volunteer hours - HR complaints not taken as serious as full time employees - Will not tell you, but teams that use TalentSource will never have 100% Full time roles, has to have minimum number of contractors. You could be doing everything correct and cannot be converted due to head count - Recently introduced commuter benefits, but not for Westlake site - Has "recognition" program, impossible to get recognized enough for a prize - Excluded to some Fidelity events - Can be treated as second class citizen, your badge shows that you are a contractor - CANNOT work holidays, NO holiday pay, blackout work dates - Sloppy onboarding process - NO raises - Turnover is high - Interns on teams typically make higher than the FTS roles
