Pros
In most areas you get to work with amazing people and almost everyone is very friendly and cooperative. There definitely is a great work environment. In general work-life balance is very good and you don't get at all pressured into working long hours. The company has great internal policies regarding employee support matters and are usually very understanding about personal needs or problems. It's a very well established company, with a large market share and its core insurance products are high quality.
Cons
It's too difficult to get a raise and any sort of progression is very unlikely. After a few years where you can learn a lot, you start to feel there are no options to continue growing. Sometimes it feels like top management cares too much about "fashionable" projects and seem to somewhat forget its core business areas. It's decision processes take quite a long time, but I suppose that's to be expected given the size and industry.
