Pros
FiComm is not a typical PR agency with cattiness, long hours and intense management, which is where I came from previously. It’s been a refreshing change, and I have been at the company for almost two years. It’s a great place for junior staff to get experience, and as a more senior member of the team I’m able to help mold direct reports and participate in senior management meetings and decisions. Senior management really cares about their team and employees. If you work hard, you will be recognized and rewarded. The pay is good and so are the benefits and flexible hours.
Cons
The agency is good for self-starters and those who can multitask, however because the team is small you definitely won’t be able to skate by if you’re not able to handle the work. You have to be willing to jump in and wear many different hats, which I don’t mind but it’s not always for everyone.
