Pros
Family owned company with a great history which generated amazing Brands and Products. Already a reference in Chocolate Confectionary, now tackling the challenge to become a reference also in the sweet packaged food arena. One of few companies that still allow to really perform very long term planning for everything (brands, products, people, assets, investments, etc).
Cons
With the very long term view, comes a bit of slowness in the whole decision making system, also impacting people's careers in terms of ascension but overall movements. Still, career appreciation and recognization are mostly by endorsement from superiors rather than personal compentece and contribution.
