- The teams are usually the lifeblood of the shops, great people to work with, lots of great regular customers too] - Tips are great (although somewhat questionably distributed) - If you like being busy, it's always busy and the days go quick. Not boring.

- The owner is quite Type A, rude and power mad. Sometimes obsessive over small, irrelevant details that don't impact the day-to-day running yet ignores bigger, long-term issues. Wants to BE right more than he wants to DO right. Doesn't like being challenged in any capacity. - Pay used to be good but didn't go up with minimum wage so became average. And considering how busy it is all the time, it is an absolute graft and deserves a wage reflective of that. - Not a lot of transparency over wages across the board. Baristas were all on different wages, leaned more towards male baristas being paid higher. - Common staffing issues, just not having enough people to deliver the level of service the brand is known for or cope with the high volume of custom, very frustrating at times. - Pay wouldn't come through on time, waiting until 11:50pm on payday sometimes. Payslips also not great. - No clarity about total amount of tips earned by the team each month and how much they equate to based on hours etc. Didn't always seem to make sense.
