Pros

Staff are usually friendly. Customers are sometimes friendly and have intresting projects and fulfilling their needs can be fun. Starting wage is reasonable. Decent benefits. Stock purchase plan. Retirement Plan. Shipping discount.

Cons

Hiring process for leads and managers is ludicrous, I've seen people with zero or very little experience come from outside the company and become a manager or lead within months and often times consultants will teach them how to do their job. I've seen regional management come in and focus on where to place a sign in the store for over an hour when there are much bigger issues at hand. A good consultant can make much more for the company than a new hire. The difference in pay between a new hire and a experienced consultant isn't very much. Customers can become very aggravated if our equipment doesn't work or doesn't work properly (some systems in the store need updating). This company is all about numbers and often times you are left feeling like a number as opposed to an employee due to the size of the company and the metrics you are chasing every month. Due to the size and corporate environment of the company good ideas have to be ignored.

Pros

Good work life balance, hours are flexible, team members are pretty nice overall, benefits are good, company is stable and job security is good

Cons

Way too many things to remember, they say “you don't have to remember everything, just know where you can figure it out” and thats all fine and good but there are so many places to go and you have to know where, and despite what they say there are things you cant find anywhere and just have to know, so many systems are just confusing and have no real guidelines to follow, and thats not to mention that every manager has there own places where they do it either the fedex way or their own way, and you never know until you get called out for doing something. Pay is also pretty low and the only way to make more is take on management roles
