Pros
There are so many different aspects of the job that you learn something new every day. There is a ton of upward mobility - a great number of district managers have been with the company for 15-20 years. The job is challenging both physically and intellectually. Corporate is also transparent with employees far beyond what other companies' standard level of forthrightness. I'd say that most employees view the company favorably, myself included. Also, the company is performing very well, so job security really does exist here.
Cons
I feel that the job requires such a significant knowledge base that the pay should be higher. Also, I feel that FedEx is behind industry standard in the amount of vacation time they offer newer full time employees. Finally, I think the company should invest in in-person training moreso than computer-based training, which can be difficult to understand and incredibly boring.
