Pros

Job Security, Well known company, the pride of most of the people to get the job done. Every day is a different challenge, not every day is the same as the last. It keeps you thinking on your toes and won't lull you to sleep like a desk job. It also lets you meet different people from all over the U.S. who deal with the same problems that you have to. You also make may professional relationships that can help you all throughout your career.

Cons

Some of the technology in some facilities. Some of the bigger facilities have to sort all packages by hand and that is not always taken into consideration when coming up with the standers to get the job done. Also a facility with say 22000 packages on IB and 15000 packages on OB are held to the same standard as a facility with 9000 packages IB and 4000 OB. Another problem that i have come across is the fact that when you talk to customer service personal they don't know what the difference is between the different operating companies is. They also don't know what types of questions to ask a customer in order to get there problem solved quickly.

Pros

Great flexibility with scheduling, which makes it incredibly easy to balance with school or other external commitments. The team environment is supportive, and the management generally respects your availability

Cons

The physical workload can be quite demanding and tiring, especially during peak seasons. Depending on the shift, communication across different teams can sometimes feel a bit unorganized.

Pros

Easy to apply, fast to get hired (no interview process) and the pay

Cons

Very rude management, lack of care for safety, no drinkable water (all filters are in the red and have been since I started) They have cameras everywhere and are constantly watching you but say you can’t bring your own phone in because “people steal them”? There is junk everywhere. Lots of trash everywhere (employees drinks and food). They want you to work and eat on the line instead of giving you breaks to do so. They get upset when you use the bathroom or fill your water bottle even if you’ve been working for 3 hours straight but if you clock in at an area 2 min walking distance from your work area you’re “stealing time” I’ve noticed people of color get treated differently. The HR department has some of the most prejudice employees so there’s no real equality if you have conflict with someone. I’ve never been, but it feels like a prison to go in and out of the building and lastly you don’t work a consistent schedule. You leave when they say you can.
