Pros

Non-Management employees work together nicely

Cons

This company lives the phrase "It's not what you know, it's who you know." People are placed in positions without having any knowledge on what the job entails and what the people below them do or how they do it yet still try to tell them what to do and how to do it. Executive Management, Senior VPs and VPs do not work together as a cohesive unit pulling department managers in different directions. Morals are loose by said people in power, often leading to illegal practices. Those below executive/senior level are treated as they were lower than dirt. They are lied to, belittled, threatened, humiliated, and demoralized. Morale is extremely low, if at all existent.

Pros

Products have a great reputation. If you get the right territory, you can make a ton of money.

Cons

Very high turnover in the sales force. Majority resign on their own, average tenure seems to be under 1 year. National sales meeting during Fourth of July week. The sales manager does not return phone calls or emails from reps for days. Management is known to circumvent the rep to make a sale in a high profile account. There is no structured training or database of resources, you learn as you go, often by making mistakes. With an unavailable sales manager, the lack of support and information can make the job frustrating. No team sales calls to share information. Individual pipeline call with upper management on Monday evenings, you will be grilled. Sales quota is the same across all territories, but some territories have 50% more targets than others. Favorite reps are given bluebird accounts in open territories. You can make a ton of money in the right territory, but you won't want to stay anyway. Quality issues with equipment. Repair technicians are not employees and tend to be about 1 per region. Low base salary is the same for every territory. A women's health company with a nearly all-male sales force.
