Pros
- you get to work with a lot of people from various companies - generally a positive work environment (grocery stores) - you get direct satisfaction from customers and store managers most of the time. - small pay increases happen within your first year as long as you are putting in the work.
Cons
- very physically demanding - if you are part-time and need sick time.. forget it. - YOU are a one man operation on most of your routes, little help if you fall behind. -Very long hours on weekends.. especially holidays 12-13 at times. - this does not appear to be much of a career ladder job, you may have a shot here in there to promote. - TABC license comes out of your pocket - uniform cost come out of your pocket - you must use your own vehicle and there is a lot of travel. (they do reimburse gas)
