Pros
Technical growth: There is a saying best people learn from mistakes from others, you will find real life examples of mistakes and how they come to bit you in long run. Flexible with WFH: If you have something urgent or something genuine you will easily get WFH as long as it does not hamper your productivity. Good team culture: People here are supportive towards peers. They are alway open to help colleagues, even cross team collaboration is good.
Cons
There a lot of cons but let me highlight the ones that have not been mentioned earlier: Product security is poor: There is no proper procedure to ensure client data or even the application itself is secure, even a college graduate with some time to spare can shake down the whole system. They have unnecessarily long procedure to access anything which in turn does very little to ensure security rather it just increases the inconvenience. No proper dev env: Everyone is here is using their own some kind of DIY in the name of dev env. This increases the complexity of the task multiple folds unnecessarily. No proper planing before commitment: The managements commits first then estimates. This leads to missing deadline, decline in morale, everyone on the lower is working under some kind pressure to achieve the impossible deadline that their manager committed which bound to fail anyway. No proper recognition: This is an extension of the above point, since your manager has committed an impossible dead and you are bond to fail you will get any recognition because your output was not on time.
