Pros

Great building, Great work environment, very helpful teams of people that are willing to collaborate. Coffee shop in the building. Management that are aware of their short comings and are working hard to improve things. This is a great time to work at FairFX as they start to work on their rewards and benefits package as well as working hard to improve the work place and make it an office that people love to work in. The autonomy of the teams is great - no one above them that doesn't trust them and needs to micro manage their technical implementations makes the developers proud of the products that they are producing.

Cons

Gym is a bit rubbish.

Pros

The CEO and upper management were great. A diverse range of employees from different backgrounds employed there. Good central work location.

Cons

Low pay. Commission structure misleading and extremely minimal. Direct managers poor, one especially had a case of 'small man syndrome' and would just scream at you for no reason on most days - very demotivating, un encouraging and soul destroying.

Dear Colleague, Thanks for sharing your experience. Albeit this is a review from 2015. I'd like to assure you that the Senior Management have taken significant steps to address the above mentioned problems. We have planned Career Camp for all our line managers. The aim of this event is to educate them on better managing their teams, regular check-ins, staff motivation, feedback and development. Along with a permanent Head of People and a HR Manager in Chester we have a Chief People Officer who is working very hard on defining a People Strategy that supports growth and retention. Thank you for the valuable feedback and I assure you that we are doing everything that it takes to improve this experience this year on.
