Pros
Great workplace, easy to get along with people
Cons
They never disclosed any financials, leading one to assume it wasn't that profitable. The Pearson management team neglected Sales and Marketing (for other priorities) and consequently the inbound customer leads dried up, so the business stopped growing. Some managers weren't knowledgeable and a little naive about their responsibilities to the broader company. There were too much emphasis on routine agile ceremonies (and 'fun time') rather than practical aspects of work. You can't present a new topic to the rest of the team every few weeks if you haven't got anything meaningful to contribute.
