Pros

The people at FINE are super talented and smart and have a LOT of compassion and empathy for each other. It's super rare to see this level of humanity at an agency. The leadership are committed to taking a time out and redefining the agency with intention and making sure the team has what it needs to succeed. It's a slow process but it is actively moving towards a best in class employee experience and operating structure. I have not worked in an organization this aligned and purposeful and it makes me really happy to know we are all doing our parts to make the agency what we want it to be.

Cons

Because the agency has been a small family operation for so long and has grown so quickly, there are a lot of operational things that have been neglected like policies and processes. This has caused a lot of ambiguity for staff on how to get things done or who to go to for help. As mentioned above, there is renewed focus and a whole team dedicated to ironing out these pieces but it takes time.

Pros

FINE is a workplace, a community, a family, and a future that I couldn't be prouder to be a part of. Our company is built on good people, who at every level, share enthusiasm for quality work. The office itself is a sparkling star of joyful people, a thoughtful working environment, and the perfect balance between a fun atmosphere and solid work ethic. Whether your closing a project, closing the door to the beer fridge or closing in on where to apply, consider this place if you consider yourself good people.

Cons

The gumball machine has m&m's in it right now, I'd much prefer peanut m&ms. Office dogs aren't yet an every day thing, I like pup snuggles and would like to have more of those. It would be nice to have an espresso machine in addition to the pour over and press coffee options we currently have but that would require I get a third cup size which seems excessive.
