Pros
- Really keen to work with charities. - The products are of good quality and there's a showroom on site to help you gain a better understanding of what you're working with. - It was very rare you would work later than your actual working hours. - Early finish on a Friday.
Cons
- There's no HR department when there really should be. - Give out disciplinaries to employees like they are sweets. - No benefits to entice employees to stay. - Poor holiday allowance (bare minimum). - Cheesy sales/empowering quotes around the office - very old school way of working. - Unprofessional management i.e. shouting, swearing or calling out at employees in front of others. - Bullying is definitely apparent here. - Staff turnover is absolutely horrendous and actually damages people's mental health due to the internal culture/way of working. - There's no staffroom in the actual building, you have to either eat your lunch at your desk or walk down to the cold warehouse and eat in their canteen. - Toxic environment, especially if your face doesn't fit.
