If you are in a rural area, be ready for highly inconsistent workload. I'd go 4-5 days without a job, suddenly to find myself with 4 or more jobs on a single day. More than half of my work was assigned outside of my originally agreed upon 50 mile radius, and some people who did work in the same area came from even farther away.
