Pros

> Safety minded company with complex standards and procedure. > Willing to listen to safety concerns and address them with mitigations. > Above average salary, OT rates and decent healthcare benefits and annual medical checkups. > Robust operational standard to ensure safety devices are functional and hazards identified, probability classified and implement appropriate measures in place to mitigate or minimize risk. > Clear progression career path for operation team technician.

Cons

> Standards and procedures are complex and difficult to fully understand and interpret. > High expectation on compliance and knowledge in standards for work permit issuance. > High frequency of management verification on ground operation team. > Many safety system and often changes from time to time which can be confusing. > Used to provide safety or operation training but was greatly reduced in recent years due to cost cutting. > Bonus and increment has been declining due to cost pressure and business losses. > Top management turnover rate high leading to poor technical skill and decision making on cost saving measures (often save 5 dollar but spend 50 dollars later.)

Pros

Good pay and a pension

Cons

Everything else. Benefits are lackluster, Flex Your Day policies are elusive. The company changes everything all the time so that a large portion of your time is spent finding new links to things on the portal, figuring out who to contact in various departments and in what country just to get a simple answer to a question. No one stays in the same role long enough to get good at their job. Morale is terrible.
