Pros

Opportunities to travel domestically and internationally, lots of smart people, top technology, above average salaries, lots of opportunities to learn

Cons

Politics within teams and the department, 3 classes of people at the Company: Top performers (who are identified by management many times who are not top performers), most people fall into average performers even if they are keeping the most critical processes and systems working, low performers who get this designation because they don't play politics or step on someone's toes. Nearly everyone at the company works hard so each year at ranking/evaluation time a large chunk still get classified as low performers and the reasons for the classification for many people may have never been discussed ahead of time. The company allows limited flexibility working remotely but wants people in the office. The company is always looking to save money and move jobs to cheaper locations.

Very bureaucratic and process driven which makes it difficult to adjust in a fast paced environment.

Pros

Good pay and a pension

Cons

Everything else. Benefits are lackluster, Flex Your Day policies are elusive. The company changes everything all the time so that a large portion of your time is spent finding new links to things on the portal, figuring out who to contact in various departments and in what country just to get a simple answer to a question. No one stays in the same role long enough to get good at their job. Morale is terrible.
