Pros

- good for the beginning, ExxonMobil looks good in your resume if you want to look for a REAL job in the future :D -out of 100% job - 50% is talking about safety, 30% is about presenting and talking about the job without doing it (what can be done, what has been done and so on) and 20% is actual job so you don't get very tired, but you don't learn either. -work/life balance, you don't need to burn the midnight oil.

Cons

-salary - and not only that - what would you say if you knew your colleague doing the same job and earning say min.500Eu more per month than you? - so called KPIs - that's a good joke, because they change based on the situation, they can even change within one day. If they need to make a move on the chessboard you could suddenly become a "great performer, ranked A" while just couple of days before you were told you were not that good and your ranking is C :) - there is too much about safety, they tell you to hold the handrail and wash your hands and repeat it all over and over again, they waste time on some silly (really silly) presentations about "trips and falls and how to avoid them"! Hey that's nice for 3-4 years old kids...They speak about health and safety and ergonomics all the time but are unable to admit 27C in the office in the summer and lack of fresh air the whole year round is a problem. - if you are Czech, capable of bowing to his/her highness supervisor and his/her majesty manager, agreeing to everything you've been told, making yourself looking like specialist/expert without actual knowledge and pleasing your supervisor by not exposing his/her incompetence then this is a great place to grow. Seriously! All sane, intelligent and qualified people who don't like to show off - don't waste your time. The chances someone will notce your great work without you advertising and buttering up are very very low

Pros

Good opportunities for networking and travel.

Cons

A significant HR issue between interns occurred during my internship and was handled very poorly. Once the matter came to HR’s and leadership’s attention, it was not officially resolved until months after the internship had ended. The VP privately apologized for the situation, but the overall response was inadequate and felt as though the situation was being swept under the rug. The lack of timely communication and follow-up created a very uncomfortable environment for a young intern and significantly impacted what was otherwise a positive internship experience.
