Pros

Once upon a time there was amazing collaboration and people actually listened to the SMEs and sought out their expertise. Once upon a time leadership actually valued the employees, their work, their time, their knowledge and their thoughts.

Cons

Pay has always been less than. But it was easy to accept being underpaid when you had great people working alongside you and a leadership that cared and was flexible with you. Now they have a leadership team that doesn’t understand the full product making decisions and selling contracts that’s cant be supported. They wait until the 11th hour or completely after the fact to ask the SMEs for input and then it’s a scramble to make it work. Their idea to make sure profit margins are good is to cut the overhead by laying off people but then taking all those responsibilities and dumping them on someone else and now that person is working 4-5 different roles while being paid an insulting salary. When you bring up concerns you’re shut down and ignored. Then blamed for the aftermath you warned about. Some are also demeaning to their direct reports and will even speak negatively about them to others in different departments, completely unprofessional.

Pros

Worked with some good and talented people and the team itself was the best part.

Cons

Before the acquisition, the environment was positive and people felt motivated. After the acquisition, everything changed, layoffs started happening, and the vibe became really toxic. No clear direction from leadership. Goals keep changing and employees are left confused about priorities or what’s expected of them. There’s a lot of favoritism people who are close to the bosses get more opportunities and freedom, while others are constantly monitored.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your perspective. While we recognize that times of transition, like acquisitions, can bring many challenges and changes that are difficult for everyone, we want to emphasize that we’ve been very focused on actively listening and making meaningful changes based on employee input. In fact, our most recent employee engagement survey received overwhelmingly positive results, and we’re proud to have been named one of Atlanta’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in 2025 as a result of that survey. We remain committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace, and we value all feedback as we continue on that journey.
