Pros
There is potential compensation (not everyone), and potential access to resources (not everyone). Every company encourages more, but you can survive with 40 hour workweek. This is great for parents. The workforce is well of advanced age and you will get along just fine if this is your last planned career job. Benefits are typical, nothing special.
Cons
"This is not a happy, go lucky company", these are some of the first words you will hear when interviewing. Heed that advice and, until it changes, avoid this company. On the list of cons are: HR, moral, lack of growth potential, incompetent IT, lack of feedback, little room to learn, time punch clock for salary employees, environment of fear, and lack of communication. This company sees its employees as nothing more than a resource, there is no human element to your position.
