Cons
Listen, when I started this job I was excited, ready to do whatever to be the best. Training: Training could of defiantly been better, after months of working on my own. I am starting to learn there was A LOT, I missed out on, almost seems like being at a disadvantage. When problems arise there is a finger in your face, asking you why you didn't do this correctly. When realistically it came from not being taught correctly the first time or at all. It makes your job 100 times harder when you have to learn something on the spot. It's not fair for someone to feel like they are failing, when they don't know. Work expectations: I don't even know where to start with this one. You are literally, a maintenance man, janitor, a sales man, security, and a office representative. The workload for this job depending where your store is at in terms of progress. Is super unrealistic especially if you are the only person working the site. I have went home with massive headaches, stressing over the expectations of this job that had been put on me at the time. Even curranty there is always a massive "bag" of work, goals, kpi, auctions, google reviews, ect. Hanging over your head, you would like to be able to choose which project or situation seems more dire. But in reality it all needs to be accomplished at once. Or in a very short period of time. Pay: Pay needs to be matching the amount of work that is being put on an employee. Not getting paid enough to do massive amounts of work is frustrating in itself. Promises: Promises coming from management need to be handled more professionally, especially when it effects your life outside of work. Or your bills/money. This is a company that's defiantly not lacking in recourses. It's not fair to give hope on a situation that always seems to be getting put off. Currently I still would like to give things a chance, but I am a human with needs and a life outside of my job. If not I have to take care of myself and my mental health. People are not machines, times are hard in our world right now.
