40 hour schedule- no more, no less Benefits- 401k, medical, dental, etc. Opportunities for advancement- you have options Guaranteed Sundays off Compensation- mileage, travel time
Cons
Inconsistent schedule- management can change your schedule the morning of a shift if someone calls out. Call outs don’t get written up so it is a frequent occurrence. Workers are always told “we’re hiring people soon” who never get hired. Hour changes- at my store we were told that hour access and office hours were changing with little to no heads up. My schedule went from 9:30-6 to an arrangement of staggered shifts. No regard for employee morale- short staffing and removal of sales incentives with a 2 week notice. Instead of a monthly bonus of $200+(net) we got less that $1 raises(about $112 pre tax) District realignments- different management style, stores to cover, and completely different teams. Happens maybe once a year with no heads up from upper management.
