Pros
There are some really, really, nice, good people that work for this company
Cons
Change starts at the top. Unfortunately, over the past year...give or take, the top has created a culture of fear and mistrust. It's ruining what made Extended Stay Hotels a great and worth while place to work. Because of this, a lot of quality people have left. The company is also financially strapped, resulting in properties not getting what they need to be properly kept up, while at the same time pushing rates way up. It's true the career growth is good, but that's only because turnover is so high. Also, wages are gradually being reduced by creating new lower level positions that are eventually promoted to lower earning levels than what the new position originally paid.
