Pros

The staff and desk team is very friendly and easy to work with, scheduling a day off for appointments or illness is easy.

Cons

10 hours a week isn't enough to live on, this is a 2ndary job.

Pros

If you're considering applying to teach for Expressions, my advice is to go for it! I only wish I had started sooner! Having never taught for a studio before, I was not sure what to expect when I started, but the onboarding and training process gave me all the resources I could need and more. And if there is ever a question you have that isn't covered in said resources, the admin team is always a text, call, or email away. They are very quick to respond and always kind and professional. Every single student that has been placed on my roster has been wonderful. Expressions makes it so easy to do my job because they take care of all of the behind the scenes work (scheduling, billing, etc.) so I can put all of my attention and focus on teaching my students. Everything is very well organized, from the teacher resources website to the scheduling software to the studios themselves, and there is an extensive digital music library that is a fantastic resource as well! Overall, I highly recommend Expressions, especially for newer teachers who are just starting their studio teaching journeys.

Cons

It did take a little while to build up a fuller teaching schedule, but I had plenty of opportunities to substitute for other teachers in the meantime.
