Pros
I’ve been working for EXP for a year now, it’s a small closely knit company where a few people make big things can happen fast.
The team is extremely talented, with constant communication between teams giving immediate feedback on products built. If you show initiative and ownership of your role you’re likely to be acknowledged for your efforts.
Management cares about the staff, and there are a few nice perks such as breakfast and lunch made by chefs in house, gym/wellbeing allowances and frequent team dinners, outings or group sports activities. There’s also a yearly staff retreat, the last one to Byron Bay where we surfed, did yoga, ate a lot of food and played a lot of cards together.
Cons
Like any other trading company it can be stressful at times. It's often a demanding workplace due to constant new challenges, performance is expected. But on the other hand the office has a very relaxed air about it.
There is always more to achieve, and improve upon, the work never stops.
