Pros

In my opinion, there is a departmental pecking order at Experitec. I am basing this opinion on my experience working in many of them. From best to worst are Account Managers, Automation Service Providers, HR/Benefits, Finance, IT, Order Management, Inside Sales, Operations, Parts and Repair, Valve technicians, and Warehouse. Suppose you choose a job closer to Account Manager. In that case, you will enjoy your time at Experitec because you will have schedule flexibility, fewer hours, less management oversight, and likely higher pay.

Cons

During my time at Experitec, multiple years of pay freezes, reductions in force, and early retirement packages would be deployed on a lower profit year. Once the pay freeze is lifted, don’t expect a multi-year pay increase to compensate for lost years because Experitec doesn’t believe in annual or cost of living increases. Another con is the inconsistent application of company guidelines or informal (not documented) policies. This could be unpaid on-call expectations, use of personal time, or leaving early on a Friday. The expectation might change when your manager or your manager’s manager changes; for example working from home is acceptable, then your manager gets a new boss, and you are expected to be in the office three days a week.
